The Strategy and Planning Consultant reports to the AVP, Strategy and Market Advancement. The Consultant is responsible for alignment and integration of regional and Institute strategic plans with enterprise strategy, and integration with financial planning. The Consultant will guide regional and Institute strategic plan development and strategic thought leadership; develop business plans and supporting tactical plans; initiate and coordinate market research projects; and provide consultation, insights and recommendations based on objective, detailed market / consumer research and analysis. This position requires extensive client interactions, business planning, presentation writing and presenting.
In addition to these duties, the Consultant will collaborate with the AVP to oversee strategic planning and business planning processes and reporting, in partnership with financial planning counterparts, operational leadership and other stakeholders. The Consultant will ensure the development, execution, management and operational hand-off of project timelines and preparation of strategic business plans in conjunction with service line or project sponsors. The Consultant will work collaboratively and provide functional guidance to the Supervisor, Strategic Insights to ensure analytic work and processes meet work requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
MBA or MHA required. Minimum of five years' related professional experience in business development or planning, or strategy required.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, finance, healthcare economics, market research, or related field required. Minimum of eight related professional experience in business development or planning, or strategy required.
History of work experience demonstrating project management, advanced analytics, and planning with extensive experience in strategic planning, feasibility studies, program opportunity analysis, program development, market research, and project management in an integrated healthcare delivery system.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to other sites throughout the health system and surrounding communities required. Due to fluid nature and visibility of the department’s work, flexible work hours are required.
