The Commission for Case Manager Certification’s (CCMC) Director of Industry Relations’ primary focus is to support the work of the CIRO with individuals and/or organizations that are interested in CCM® Certification, CDMS® Certification and related support products and offerings through CCMC’s broadermarketing and promotions efforts. Director of Industry Relations will monitor industry trends and developments to assist in the maintenance and development of CCMC's certification programs (CCM & CDMS), products, services and offerings. This is a support position to the CCMC CIRO. Director of Industry Relations will work with CCMC’s Senior Management team and Marketing & Communications firm to support existing and new business development plans and efforts. Director of Industry Relations supports professional development and education activities in conjunction with CIRO.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES
Excellent customer service skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment Ability to work independently and actively contribute in a team environment Practiced and proficient in multiple business computer systems; ability to learn others. Comfortable in working on multiple simultaneous projects from inception to completion; both short-term projects and long-term projects Capacity to learn and adapt to new technology initiatives required Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time and present on behalf of CCMC to support CIRO Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in case management or related health or human services field. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Marketing, sales and business development experience in health and human services field a plus. Proven ability to work in a multi-functional, collaborative work place setting (that includes, day-to-day workings with senior management, collegiate staff and vendors). Proven ability to develop and implement actions, plans or decisions with hands-on oversight by CIRO. Experience with non-profits, certifying agencies, and/or professional organizations (like case management or related services) preferred. Past track record working independently. Has worked under a multiple reporting structure / matrix structure. Three (3) years or more of using common systems including but not limited to Email, Word,Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Experience working with volunteers and remote staff a plus.
