St. David's South Austin Medical Center is an acute care facility with 316 beds, offering a range of complex specialties and sub specialties, including a nationally accredited oncology program with the area's only adult bone marrow transplant program; a trauma program that includes all of the capabilities and programmatic elements of a Level II trauma center to treat the most severely injured and critical patients; a comprehensive cardiac program; full service maternity and newborn care with Level I and II nurseries; and two full service emergency centers in the communities of Bee Cave and Bastrop.
Intermediate Care Unit
The IMC is a 22 bed unit with State of the Art GE monitoring equipment/Hill ROM Sport Beds. 8 of the 22 beds are swing beds and have fixed monitoring which means an additional 8 ICU beds. All beds are telemetry capable. The unit boasts of high inpatient satisfaction scores.
Education/Experience Required : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Previous experience in ICU or Intermediate Care.
Preferred : 1 year recent critical care experience
Required: Texas RN Licensure; American Heart BLS Preferred : CCRN,CEN or other national certifications and ACLS
If compact license, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
