We are searching for a new Medical Staff Services Coordinator, responsible for the appointment and reappointment, of the medical staff in a timely manner. Other duties include working closely with the HCA credentialing center to ensure all competencies (FPPE) licenses, certifications and education are submitted in a timely manner. The MS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the work of the Credentials Specialist. The MS Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Board, Medical Staff and Hospital Staff.

Education: Minimum of 20 hours or 15 semester hours of college credit which include anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and medical science;
Licensure/Certification: CPMSM and/or CPCS certification is preferred. If not certified, a background with medical terminology and hospital experience is preferred with certification acquired within an adequate timeframe after employment. RHIA and/or CPCS preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three years experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a hospital medical staff credentialing office. Experience with first hand interaction with physicians and Allied Health Providers is desirable.
