Performs routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning of boilers, chillers and all central plant equipment. Maintains theÂ mechanical equipment such as engines, compressors, generators, pumps and steam boilers during the respective shifts.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Two years of power plant operator experience, preferred
Knowledge of boilers, pumps gauges, heating units and systems, hand tools, generators, ventilation equipment, plumbing fixtures and all heating and cooling distribution systems.
Has a working knowledge of regulations imposed by local, state or other hospital authorities
Ability to troubleshoot systems as necessary
Physical Requirement -Â Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up toÂ 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
