The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluation and occupational therapy treatment. Responsible for the direct or indirect provision of individualized care based on the assessed age and developmental needs. Responsible for transitioning patients to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and supervision according to policy.
This position is with our Centura Health at Home team. This is a field position so most work is completed in our patients' homes. Travel will be a requirement in this role.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
One (1) year experience.
Home Care or Long Term Care experience, preferred.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
Preferred: Masters in Occupational Therapy; membership in AOTA.
CO Occupational Therapist (OT) License
Current Colorado drivers license
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required for facilities
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) preferred for facilities without an AED.
Physical Requirements -Â Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
