Sourcing Specialist ALCM: Key role as part of the ALCM team will be located in the home office in Dallas. This person will be responsible for data collection, interpretation and analysis, budgeting, base lining for contract negotiation and cost savings tracking. The Sourcing Specialist ALCM will utilize a variety of Tenet financial data sources including but not limited to: supply purchase order, non-supply spend data, Hyperion reports, General Ledger eCats, TMS, and Tenet custom reports in support of the analytical process. The Analyst will use this data to build spend analysis in Excel, budgeting, base lining and other duties as assigned. The analyst may be responsible for tracking ongoing initiatives, coming up with new opportunities, or gathering data so that others may identify opportunity. The candidate is expected to take a significant role in the ALCM service analysis, budgeting and savings tracking process.
Specific Job Duties include:
ï¿½Working with facilities and markets to track and handle Service Contracts to help determine the cost effective benefit of utilizing time and materials vs service contracts.
ï¿½Manage End of Life (EOL) notifications to determine impact and direction of replacement vs ability to continue service.
ï¿½Analyzing vendor contracts to verify service compliance. Working with datasets in Excel to identify supply and sourcing opportunities for clinicians and supply experts, DMMs, Health Trust partners, and PMI purchased service teammates.
ï¿½Assisting with tracking, auditing, and reporting of savings for ALCM.
ï¿½Assisting with data collection, quantification, and reporting for large scale ALCM initiatives.
ï¿½Support other work streams needed to advance Tenet initiatives.
ï¿½Work with facilities to pull data from Tenet data sources to build baseline analysis for ALCM initiatives.
ï¿½Work with hospitals to validate spend and baselines for ALCM initiatives.
One to Two years of experience in either consulting or Accounting/Finance with a focus on data management and analysis or similar robust analytical experience. Supply chain and purchased service experience would be a plus.
Prefer working knowledge of financial, accounting and operations. Advanced Excel skills are a must, as well as general working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are also a must. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and convert interviews and observations into actionable recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal skills; a dedicated listener, comfortable in a variety of settings dealing with diverse constituencies; a broad thinker. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. The analyst will need to be firm but maintain a professional persona with outside vendors and hospital leaders.
Ability to work well under pressure successfully prioritizing projects and effectively managing time and tasks, achieving optimum results.
Contracting experience is not required, but it would be preferred.
