This position will specifically focus on monitoring and improving quality assurance of processes and programs, ensuring compliance of processes and programs, and manage and maintain the accreditation of department standards
FTE Status: Full Time
FTE: 1.000000 (FTE x 80 = hours per pay period)
Ensures operational readiness of crews and fleets. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Provides patient care when necessary.
Provides direction, orientation, training, mentoring coaching and development to staff. Conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Disseminates and coordinates communication plans as assigned by Division Chief/Managers.
Assesses quality of services delivered. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols. Initiates and investigates complaints and accidents.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
If RN Candidate:
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
2 years of relevant experience
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS and ACLS.
If PARAMEDIC Candidate:
National Registry EMT
High school diploma or GED required.
2 years of relevant experience.
