Summary: Responsible for administration of activities associated with departmental and organizational outcomes. Develops data management and reporting solutions, which includes planning, implementing, and evaluating results.

Responsibilities: Works with leadership and staff to analyze and evaluate processes across the multidisciplinary continuum of care with the aim of improving clinical and operational outcomes. Leads performance-related committee discussions focused on improving outcomes and efficient patient care and satisfaction.
Creates and delivers ongoing and ad hoc reports and dashboards that provide outcomes and trends on key performance indicators, along with identifying areas of opportunity and action.
Serves as subject matter expert and liaison/advocate for the department to ensure access to Epic and operational data and reporting resources.
Maintains current knowledge of regulatory, public, and organizational reporting initiatives. Serves as resource for measure specifications, data management, and performance outcomes.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Required License/Certification: None Required.
5 years' clinical or related healthcare experience with 1 year in a leadership role related to design of clinical database systems and analysis.
Experience in process facilitation and outcomes reporting.
Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nursing program.
Participate in and manage data integration projects.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
Work and communicate well with users at all levels of the organization and different levels of technical skill.
Participate in executive facing projects, initiatives, and committees as requested, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Adhere to organizational and departmental standards for coding and documentation, and assist in reviewing and updating these standards as needed.
Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and reporting/visualization tools. Prefer experience with T-SQL and the Microsoft data technology stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI/Power Query).
Working knowledge of data warehouse and data science concepts including ETL and data engineering.
Serve as a mentor and resource for other analysts and developers
Epic Clarity Data Model certification preferred (any module)
Healthcare experience preferred.
