The Change and Release Management Analyst supports the IT Service Management team in the areas of Change Management (CM), Release Management, and Configuration Management Systems (CMS). This position will support the IT Service Management team with the change and release discipline, including change control management, document management, and ensuring a set of effective and coordinated processes are developed and maintained for supporting IT services and customers. The person in this position monitors change requests for information technology infrastructure, networks, systems and application and verifies that requests are appropriately classified, approved, and communicated. The Change and Release Analyst will elicit input from appropriate subject matter experts and support the Operations teams ensuring timely communication with end users on system impacting changes.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
5 years progressive experience in an information systems environment.
Good understanding of ITIL V3 processes and principals
Good understanding of Change and Release Management methods, tools, terminology and industry practices.
A high and broad degree of knowledge in IT application and infrastructure architecture.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced technical environment with a customer service approach. Understanding of customer
Bacheloras Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, technical certification, training and/or work experience.
HS GED required
ITIL V3 Foundations Certification preferred
Physical Requirements -A Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
