Responsible for providing administrative assistance to support the goals and objectives of the Steele Institute for Health Innovation. Provides support to the VP, Care Delivery and Manager of Innovation Operations. other service line leadership as required. Resource for technical and organizational support to service line administration, service line committees and system administrative support staff.
Works under the general supervision of the Manager, Innovation Operations and VP, Care Delivery and Payment Models.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated secretarial and office skills including software proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Site Executive, SharePoint, MS Lync and OneNote. Demonstrated ability to develop and education support staff on software uses.
Demonstrated ability to prepare meeting agendas, follow up on, track and/or communicate items coming from meetings. Ability to write and disseminate complete and accurate meeting minutes is required.
Demonstrated ability to design presentations and reports with complicated formulas and graphics.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems within a complex organizational structure.
Demonstrates excellent composition and editing skills including thorough knowledge of English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading.
Demonstrates a positive, supportive, respectful and helpful attitude in interactions with all service line customers (patients, providers, coworkers and others). Performs duties as a team member of the service line including collaboration, education and cross-coverage in a mature, positive and professional manner. Consistently contributes to the resolution of problems by offering effective options, alternatives and solutions.
Requires a solid understanding of general office support functions with specialized skills and the ability to prioritize, communicate, coordinate and be accountable for completion of multiple tasks under significant time pressures.
Demonstrates strong analytical abilities to process information and problem solve for resolution.
Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality, to be self-motivated with strong attention to detail, to work within required timelines and able to adapt to change.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent with a background in business or finance and proficiency in punctuation and grammar is required.
Experience working for multiple principles simultaneously is required.
Minimum of 2-3 years secretarial experience required.
