The RN Critical CareFloat Pool position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s MedicalCenter of optimizing quality of life of all those served by expanding beyondthe traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Critical Care Super Pool RN isresponsible for the delivery of nursing care to the patient requiring CriticalCare needs, including, but not limited to Emergency Department, ICU, and BMT. The Critical Care Super Pool RN serves asprimary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading the collaboration of alldisciplines for well-coordinated patient care. The Critical Care Super Pool RN oversees and directs the care ofassistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assignedpatients. When the need arises, willperform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Employees in this position will be required to followon-call work scheduling guidelines per department protocol.

Current licensure in the State of Coloradoas a Registered Nurse
BLS Healthcare provider withAmerican Heart Association required
ACLS with American Heart Associationrequired
Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing. BSN preferred.
Three to five years’ experience incritical care preferred.
