POSITION SUMMARY: Provide professional patient care through supervised assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Meet the needs of the patient, family and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination and evaluation.
·EMT-Basic Certification or EMT-Paramedic Certification
·BLS-Healthcare provider and IV certification required.
·High School Diploma or G.E.D.
·Successful completion of EMS course.
·One year hospital experience preferred.
·Knowledge of basic clinical practices, procedures, and standards.
·Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care.
·Basic knowledge of computer systems and good interpersonal skills.
