The Patient SafetyAttendant provides assistance with Patient Care standards. The PatientSafety Attendant (PSA)/ Patient Sitter performs delegated duties consistentwith his/her scope of practice, under the supervision of the RN and assistswith direct patient care; functions within the philosophy and overall plan ofcare delivery at SMC. The PSAsparticipate in patient care including helping the patients to toilet, bathing,and vital signs. Documentationis done every 15 minutes. The PSA muststay in the room with patient at all times and watch the patient constantly atarm’s length.

CurrentBLS Certification with American Heart Association- required.
CurrentColorado certification as a CNA - required.
Oneor more years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred.
