A 100 bed-licensed rehabilitation hospital, Spalding specializes in treatment of conditions such as: Stroke, Brain injury, Amputations, Orthopedic injuries, Neurologic conditions and other disabling injuries or medical conditions.
Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapy Lead, the therapist evaluates patients, plans, implements, and modifies treatment programs according to age appropriateness, participates in discharge planning, performs administrative duties, participates in QI, pursues professional growth, assists with student education and performs other duties as assigned.
State of Colorado OT License; NBOT, BLS certification through American Heart Association
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Prefer 6 months acute care experience
Evaluative and treatment skills commensurate with formal education. Organizational, documentation, communication skills with ability to document on computer.
