Position Summary:Responsible for coordinating the delivery ofclinical patient care. Collaborates with the Director of Respiratory Therapy inplanning, organizing and delivery of services. Participates in monitoringthe quality of care being provided and takes appropriate measures to assure theprovision of high quality care. Financial responsibility to includecollaboration in preparation of the budgets and effective utilization ofresources.

A.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered RespiratoryTherapist required. NBRC-RRT credential required. Registered Pulmonary FunctionTechnician or Registered Cardiopulmonary Technician or eligiblepreferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS through American Heart Associationrequired. Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required. Neonatal PediatricSpecialist preferred, Adult Critical Care Specialist preferred
B.Education:Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
D.Special Qualifications:Must have effective verbal and writtencommunication in order to communicate in a clear, concise manner with staff,employees, patients, public and physicians. Knowledge of respiratoryprinciples and procedures. Implements and coordinates Respiratory Care topatients based on cardiopulmonary assessment. Models the behaviorsoutlined in the iCARE values.
Degree ofsupervision required: Minimal supervision: Individualproceeds under medical direction and with guidance from the Department Directoron his/her own initiative in compliance with policies, procedures, andpractices prescribed by the Respiratory Care Department.
