PositionSummary:This position supportsthe mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza ofoptimizing quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond thetraditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.Under the supervision of the laboratorysupervisor, performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of hospitalbased inpatients.Shares an on-callrotation with other staff for emergency studies.

A.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be ABRET EEG Registered. BLS Certification through AHA required. Knowledge/experience in evoked potentials.
B.Education: Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. Some college level work is preferable.
C.Experience: 2 years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spent in training).
D.Special Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills.
Degree of supervision required: Minimal – individual proceeds on his/her own initiative in compliance with policies, procedures, and practices prescribed by immediate supervisor.
