Position Summary: This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Organizes and manages the department activities. Oversees office supply inventory, room utilization, and audio/visual equipment utilization. Provides clerical support for the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Risk Management & Safety. Coordinates special projects as assigned. Interacts with physicians, hospital directors, other hospital executives, as well as employees, patients and families. Assists in the completion of department assignments. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience: Three years secretarial experience.
Special Qualifications: Advanced computer skills preferred. Excellent telephone skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or similar systems preferred. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, JCAHO, CMS, and Life Safety standards preferred. General knowledge of legal procedures/practices. Excellent spelling, grammar, and verbal communication and written composition skills. Customer service skills.
