The RN Float Pool positionsupports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of optimizingquality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focuson medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Super Pool RN is responsible for the deliveryof nursing care to the patient requiring telemetry, ortho, and/or medicalsurgical care. The Super Pool RN servesas primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading the collaboration of alldisciplines for well-coordinated patient care. The Super Pool RN oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel,maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform otherduties as assigned by supervisor.
Employees in this position will be required to followon-call work scheduling guidelines per department protocol.

Current licensure in the State ofColorado as a Registered Nurse
BLS Healthcare provider with AmericanHeart Association required
ACLS with American Heart Associationwithin the first 12 months of hire
Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing. BSN preferred.
EKG interpretation competency orcourse within the first 6 months of hire is recommended.
Two years’ experience in acute carestrongly preferred.
