General Statement of Duties: Will utilizethe nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in orderto achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision basedon self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image ofnursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.
C.A.R.E Pool RNs are required to work the following:
Hours per Pay Period: Tier V (NICU RN): Minimum hours,weekend commitment, and demographic location determined by the group and POD inthe HealthONE CARE pool Agreement.
Holiday Requirements: Tier V(NICU RN): 1 Major or 1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff dayannually. Tier V benefited: 1 Major and1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff day annually.
HealthONEC.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to all HealthONE facilitieswithin the chosen pod. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in whichthey have competencies. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses can be placed in a unit below theircompetency level with a modified assignment.
NICU RN (Tier V)
Requiredto have a compact RN license orColorado RN license accepted upon hire, CO license required within 90 days ofhire.
CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) required onhire.
NeonatalResuscitation Program (NRP) required onhire.
Post-resuscitation/Pre-transportStabilization Care of Sick Infants (STABLE) certifications required on hire.
Graduateof a certified School of Nursing.
Minimumof at least two years of RN experience in pediatric critical care for NICU RN (Tier V).
