The Physical Therapist evaluates patients; plans, implements and modifies treatment programs; participates in discharge planning; performs administrative duties; participates in PI; pursues professional growth; assists with student education, and when need arises will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Oversees the work of P.T. Aides, P.T. Assistants, volunteers, and students, and athletic trainers. Qualifications Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Physical Therapist. BLS Healthcare Provider Card FIMS certification required as indicated within 6 months of hire. Education: Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Experience: Acute care hospital experience required. Special Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate with patients using auditory Input and Output.
