PositionSummary:This position supports the mission ofThe Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza. Under the supervision ofthe radiologist and radiology leadership, performs diagnostic MRI procedures inaccordance with established protocols for all patients.Provides a complete history of patient andverifies patient screening form is accurate. Responsible for screening allindividuals entering Zone III and IV. Provide an excellent patient experiencewith quality diagnostic results.Responsible for supply/inventory management. When need arises, willperform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

A.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current certification by ARRT (MR) required. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required.
B.Education: Completion of a Radiology Technology training program required.
Degree of supervision required: Involves general guidance and direction by the Radiology Director and Supervisor. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Populations and Ages of Patients Served: This position requires knowledge of growth and developmental needs of patients and families. Personnel in this position must recognize and respond to the behaviors of patients and families in each age category. The employee must be able to demonstrate the special skills required to care for patients and their families according to standards.
