Assists cardiac rehabilitation team to educate and provide exercise leadership for in-patients and out-patients with the goal to restore optimal functional activity. Gathers exercise data and implements specialized strength and conditioning programs for patients under the direction of an Exercise Physiologist, Nurse or Physician. Provides patient education regarding proper exercise techniques, stress reduction, developing coping skills, etc. Promote health and fitness through a variety of programs in the Wellness Center. What You Bring/Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Previous Cardiopulmonary Rehab or other clinical experience, preferred Training to include Phase I, Phase II and Phase III exercise leadership in hospital setting Knowledge of exercise, nutrition and social coping skills for behavioral modification applicable to Cardiac Rehab Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related from an accredited university or college (Required) 12 Lead ECG competency, preferred or within 90 days of hire BLS (required) ACLS (preferred) ACSM CES certification, preferred Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Your Connected Community When people and places align, incredible things happen.
