The HouseAdmin Patient Care Supervisor provides clinical management to the hospitalthrough organizing, coordinating and monitoring patient care and representingAdministration during off hours, weekends and holidays. The Patient CareSupervisor performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice andfunctions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SwedishMedical Center.

CurrentColorado Registered Nurse License (may work on a current RN compact license forthe first 180 days of employment).
CurrentBCLS, ACLS certifications through AHA.
Graduateof a certified school of nursing required.
Minimumof 5 years clinical RN experience required.
Threeyears progressive supervisory or management experience preferred.
Demonstratescomprehensive knowledge of the practice of nursing theory and process. Demonstrates the ability to plan and providefor delivery of nursing services.
Abilityto recognize the needs and concerns of people and to maintain constructiverelationships in dealing with them.
Abilityto communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Participatesin counseling and guidance of personnel.
Demonstratesa leadership role with the health team in planning and delivery of patientcare.
