What you can expect from working as a Patient Care Tech in the Med Surg Unit at Swedish Medical Center:
The Patient Care Technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary in a cross trained role as a unit secretary.
The Multi Skilled Technician performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice, under the supervision of the RN and assists with direct patient care; functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC.

Current BLS Certification through AHA.
Current Colorado certification as a CNA.
High school diploma/GED required.
One to two years experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Demonstrates good organizational skills.
Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
Some specified skills may be required by specific departments.
