The Manager of the IT Client Services Support Teams is a working Manager and are responsible for the day-to-daymanagement of all operational duties of the IT Client Desktop staff and Telecom/Field Services. This position providesleadership and oversight for team staff including goal setting, training/development, management of team schedule (on callrotations, paid-time-off, sick time, etc.), timesheet approval, feedback, coaching and mentoring, policy and procedure, andrelated leadership functions. Responsible for team performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions. Works closelywith Directors/Managers of Business Technology and the Director of Client Technology concerning customer satisfaction.Prioritizes and assigns work efforts for the team. Maintains ownership of the quality of the teams work. Establishes teammetrics and generates reports on performance and productivity with respect to team goals.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
6-8 years of experience managing a desktop services team, preferebly in a healthcare setting
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization on IT related issues and initiatives
Strong critical thinking skills; ability to quickly comprehend problems, develop hypotheses, draw logical conclusions, develop solutions, and repsond accordingly
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills
HS Diploma/GED, required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment. Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis
ITIL Foundation Certificiation, preferred
Physical Requirements:Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to10lbs force occasionally)
