Laboratory Corporation of America Northeast Division at Raritan, New Jersey is presently seeking an experienced Surgical Pathologist/Cytopathologist to join their team. The current pathologists in Raritan have subspecialty expertise in GYN Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology and Hematopathology.
Individual diagnostic evaluation and case sign-out of primarily Gynecologic pathology specimens. Assure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety guidelines/standards
Accurate and timely evaluation of specimens tested
Assures good laboratory practice (GLP) and compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies
Provide expert consultation as needed with clients and staff, in person, by phone or electronically
Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
Board Certification in Clinical Pathology and/or Cytopathology is a plus
Experienced in gynecologic pathology is required
Experience in dermatopathology, hematopathology and cytopathology is highly desired
Subspecialty training or experience in Hematopathology is particularly sought
Previous experience working in a high volume laboratory setting highly preferred
NYDOH certification or eligibility
