Under general supervision of a pharmacist, performs pharmacy-related functions to provide optimal pharmaceutical care, including managing inventory duties, processing return to stocks and working the unsold/dead drug report, compounding, and preparing and dispensing medications. Serves as a mentor of pharmacy technician staff in the tasks listed above. Serves as a role model to the pharmacy technician staff regarding the principles of good customer service and cost-effective workflows.

* High School Diploma or GED (Required) Education 1. High School Diploma or GED certificate, required. 2. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program, preferred.Typically, three years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or ambulatory pharmacy.
