Clinical Director oversees diagnostic and interventional suites, which include coronary, interventional radiology, neurology, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures at Memorial North and Central campuses.
This position requires Administrative experience and an understanding of procedural suites and procedures. OR Leadership experience is helpful.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Successful, collaborative relationships with physicians are essential.
Extensive understanding of budgeting and operations is required for this position.
5 years of relevant leadership experience. BSN required. Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare or relevant field required.
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Credentials: Essential: * Registered Nurse
Other information: Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare, or relevant field. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant leadership experience. Preferred: Strategic leadership experience.
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
