The RNNICU Level IV oversees and directs the care of the critically illpatient. The RN is responsible for the care of critically ill, prematureand newborn patients meeting the NICU Level IV admissions criteria. The RNserves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistivepersonnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assignedpatients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned bysupervisor.
·Current licensure in theState of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
·BLS – Healthcare provider
·NRP required within thefirst 3 months of hire
·STABLE required within 6months of hire
·Graduate of anaccredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
·One-year experience inneonatal care preferred.
·Ability to communicateeffectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care teammembers.
·Ability to manage a teamand work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
·Strong critical thinkingskills.
