As an Advanced Practice Practitioner in our Pulmonary Service, youâ™ll work with an excellent team of Pulmonary/Critical Care Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day youâ™ll collaborate with inpatient nursing staff, case management, and other support services as well as the outpatient clinic.
You would practice at St. Maryâ™s Hospital and St. Maryâ™s Lung and Sleep Clinic in Grand Junction, CO
You will work 12 hour shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule, with NO call.
In this line of work every day is different, thatâ™s why youâ™ll need to know how to:
Provide and manage direct patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
Serve as a collaborative advanced practice registered nurse and/or physician assistant
Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
NP/PA certification â“ NP preferred
Experience in hospital and outpatient care, ICU, or acute care is preferred - No new graduates please.
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete St. Maryâ™s credentialing process
