When you arethe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) for our Neuro Trauma unit, you willbe collaborating with the director to lead a team of amazing medicalprofessionals. This is a greatopportunity to take your career to the next level!
What youshould expect to do in this role:
You willexemplify professional nursing practice through expert clinical practice,strong leadership skills, and management activities.
You willprovide clinical management to the department through coordination of patientcare activities, procedures and flow of patients between various units.
You will bedelegating duties to staff members within their scope of practice, and acts asa resource for clinical or communication issues to other staff.
You will betaking patient assignments when necessary.
You willneed to have budgetary commitment to the staffing matrix.
You will beinvolved with staff performance appraisals; development of unit policy andprocedures; and committed to uphold Sky Ridge Standards of Behavior
You will befunctioning in the Chair-of-Command, continuing the chain upward when situationcannot be resolved at CNC level.
You willfacilitate growth and development, empowerment of personnel by functioning as aleader, resource person, and counselor
Whatqualifications you will need for this role:
CurrentColorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
Current BLS,American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
BachelorScience Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hirerequired
Graduate ofan accredited school of nursing required
Minimum of 2years clinical RN experience required
Two yearsprogressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
