Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a dynamic, nationally recognized and accomplished Pediatric Anesthesiologist with a proven track record to lead the Department of Anesthesiology. The successful candidate must possess a strong academic background and have a demonstrated ability and clear vision to lead a prominent multi-faceted clinical, research and educational program. The successful candidate will be BC in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and eligible for medical licensure in the States of Missouri and Kansas. The Chair will advise and assist in the development of patient care activities that support quality outcomes and appropriate resource utilization. The Chair will work in collaboration with the medical staff to guide the development of efficient and cost-effective services.

The Department of Anesthesiology is comprised of subspecialty trained and board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and Anesthesiology Assistants. Children’s Mercy is the training site for the ACGME accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program in partnership with the University of Kansas.
