The UCHealth Medical Group trauma surgery team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, is adding 2-APPS to our team thanks to growth throughout the region. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring personality, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care..
Required: 1-year of surgical experience or completion of a surgical fellowship program.
Here are a few good reasons to join our team in Loveland Colorado: - Variety - this position will round on medical/surgical floors and ICU patients, cover ER admissions for general and trauma surgery and provide surgical first assist in the OR for elective and emergent general and trauma cases.
- Schedule - supports a work-life balance. This position is a full-time 1.0 FTE and will be 4 10-hour shifts within a 7 day work week. No call.

Requirements for Physician Assistants * Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies * Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado. * Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). * Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. * Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. * Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either the Health and Human Services/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the General Services Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs. * Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges. * Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privileging process. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
