Here is some of what you can expect from being a Coordinator of Performance Improvement with us:
You will be responsible for combining clinical, statistical, performance improvement, and outcomes measurement data to support medical staff committees and clinical services in quality assessment activities
You will serve as a resource to hospital departments with performance improvement activities
You will participate in collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of core measures and other data
You will maintain working knowledge relative to regulative guidelines and TJC standards and accreditation requirements, and assists with organizational tracers to ensure ongoing compliance
You will collaborates with physician leadership for presentation of outcome data at department and committee meetings for the purpose of quality improvement
You will work collaboratively with Medical Staff office staff to ensure ongoing medical staff peer review process through chart review and physician profiling activities within the organization
You will develop, implement, educate and monitor new and expanding quality initiatives in conjunction with other departments within the organization
What qualifications you will need:
Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain a Kansas Registered Nurse license within 90 days of start date
Minimum five years of clinical experience preferred
Experience with TJC accreditation process preferred
Bachelors or Masters in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred
Certification in health care quality and/or performance improvement by nationally recognized organization (e.g. CPHQ, etc.) preferred
