You have at least two years of nursing or paramedic experience.

We are a 23 bed Emergency Department averaging approximately 40,000 patients annually.  We are the 1st pediatric ready hospital in the state of Montana.  We are an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center and stroke center.  We have an in-house flight team.

Your day.

As a Trauma Registrar with us, youâ™ll never know what to expect, but you will know how to:

• Collect and manage information for submission to appropriate agencies, departments, committees, and leadership.
• Complete trauma data backup to the State Trauma Registry, National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), and the Trauma Quality Improvement program (TQIP) as requested and in compliance with National Trauma Data Standards (NTDS).
• Use data to monitor performance of new and modified processes.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: 

• High School diploma, or the equivalent
• Proof of attendance at (1) The American Trauma Societyâ™s Trauma Registrar Course or equivalent provided by a state trauma program; and (2) The Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicineâ™s Injury Scaling Course; or attends within 12-months of hire.
• Two years of nursing or exposure to EMS as a paramedic
• Experience working with ICD-9-CM, ICO-0-3, and AIS coding, preferred
