A few responsibilities of our CT Technologist include:
You will prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
Your role will be to perform procedures, assesses patients throughout, and respond to patient needs as appropriate.
You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
You will observe safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques.
Your role will be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols and following all dosing guidelines.
Required Job Qualifications include:
Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
Currently registered as a CT Technologist, or will obtain CT registry within six months of hire date
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
One year of experience in an Imaging Department preferred
