When you arethe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) for our Neuro unit, you will becollaborating with the director to lead a team of amazing medicalprofessionals. This is a greatopportunity to take your career to the next level!
What youshould expect to do in this role:
You willcollaborate with the Director to provide leadership to our team and play a rolein fiscal, human resource, and operational functions
Your rolewill actively participate in department and hospital strategic planning andwill effectively implement new programs and services
You will bemaintaining an effective competency and staff development program
You willwork on day-to-day operations such as: processing payroll, managing departmentexpenses, participating on hospital committees, processing employeeevaluations, managing personnel issues
You will beassisting in maintaining a departmental staffing plan that meets the needs ofthe customer and is responsive to the changing census
You willassure an appropriate skill mix and staffing levels in accordance with volumedemands
You willcreate/foster a positive environment and will lead by example and by holdingstaff accountable for their behaviors and attitudes (compassionate,professional, communicative)
What qualificationsyou will need for this role:
CurrentColorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
Current BLS,American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
BachelorScience Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hirerequired
Graduate ofan accredited school of nursing required
Minimum of 2years clinical RN experience required
Two yearsprogressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
