• Noninvasive Vascular Imaging uses state-of-the-art imaging technology to diagnose vascular diseases and assist our cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and vascular surgeons with diagnosing and planning surgical procedures. 

Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology inwhich minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. Thesedoctors specialize in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments. Asan InterventionalRadiology Specialist - IR Technologist, you can expect to do the following:

• Yourole is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special/InterventionalProcedures, and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care andexemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to lateadulthood.
• Yourrole maintains strong communication and organization within InterventionalRadiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referringphysicians. 
• Youwill consistently demonstrate critical thinking skills in day to day jobprioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
• Youmust be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, aswell as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.

• Completionof an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with currentcertification by ARRT.
• Mustmaintain current registry by attending continuing education activities tomaintain knowledge and skill level.
• CurrentARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) and current BLS Required. Willing to  cross-train.
• Interventional/SpecialProcedure experience preferred.
