Noninvasive Vascular Imaging uses state-of-the-art imaging technology to diagnose vascular diseases and assist our cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and vascular surgeons with diagnosing and planning surgical procedures.
Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology inwhich minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. Thesedoctors specialize in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments. Asan InterventionalRadiology Specialist - IR Technologist, you can expect to do the following:
Yourole is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special/InterventionalProcedures, and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care andexemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to lateadulthood.
Yourrole maintains strong communication and organization within InterventionalRadiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referringphysicians.
Youwill consistently demonstrate critical thinking skills in day to day jobprioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.
Youmust be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, aswell as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.
Requirements for this role:
Completionof an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with currentcertification by ARRT.
Mustmaintain current registry by attending continuing education activities tomaintain knowledge and skill level.
CurrentARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) and current BLS Required. Willing to cross-train.
