Senior Compensation Strategist
Denver Health
Job Summary Under minimal supervision provides professional support to the Compensation section of the Human Resources division of Denver Health. Assist in leadership and direction relative to managing the compensation program. Evaluate the effectiveness of compensation practices and develop integrated compensation strategies to support organization goals and objectives. Evaluate and analyzes salary data. Administer company compensation programs. Recommends and implements changes as necessary to meet the changing needs of the health system and economic conditions. Maintain hospital compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations regarding wage and hour laws.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience1. Four plus years of Compensation experience required.2. Progressive responsibility in compensation preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1. Knowledge of statistics and applicable federal and state regulations regarding wage and hour laws and employment. Able to demonstrate professional and operational knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.2. Proven interpersonal/communication skills. Ability to perform and possesses critical thinking skills.3. Able to work effectively with all levels of employees within the organization. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Computers and Technology1. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to include spreadsheet design, formula application, database administration, and presentation design.Certificates, Licenses and Registration1. CCP, SPHR, or PHR preferred.
Education * Bachelor's Degree (Required) Concentration in Business, Human Resources, Finance or other related field preferred. Location Shift Work Type All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test, once a conditional offer of employment has been made.
