Food Services Supervisor Job Summary
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will act as an ambassador and support the mission of our Hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will also include (but not limited to):

• Supervision and coordination of duties for daily food service operations throughout the Food and Nutrition Services Department
• Employee scheduling, employee performance evaluations, and direct employee supervision
• Ensuring HACCP/Sanitation Standards
• Ensuring timely and accurate meal services for Patients and Cafeteria customers

• Comfortable working with email, electronic records, telephone systems, and various computer programs

Qualifications:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferred. Safe Serve Certification preferred or attained within 90 days of hire.
• Education: Completion of CDM approved coursework preferred
• Experience: Minimum two years previous healthcare food service experience
• Special Qualifications: Proficient in the operation of Food Service/institutional equipment
