Whatyou will do in this role:
Youwill demonstrate your nursing specialty advanced knowledge, skills andunderstanding of the unique aspects of the population served in the care ofyour patients.
Asa float pool nurse, you will utilize your specialized skills and unit specific competencies.
Youwill oversee and direct the care of CNA’s and assistive personnel, maintainingfinal accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Youmay rotate to other areas other than your normally assigned service area/s, andwill perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
Whatqualifications you will need:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado asa Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS with American Heart Association orAmerican Red Cross for all Float Pool Registered Nurses required.
Additional certifications required based on specialtyunit (ACLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC, ENPC and/or NRP).
Graduateof an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
Twoyears’ nursing experience minimum with specialty in Medical Surgical Telemetry acutecare required. Experience requirements are specific to positions anddepartments as appropriate.
