Job Summary Under minimal supervision, responsible for administrative oversight and facility management of one or more CHS health center sites including the direction and leadership of clerical, health care partner, nurse, program manager and team leaders within those sites, participating in strategic planning, managing budgets, developing performance standards, and working with community partners on CHS programs and planning.
Responsibilities 1. Manages and coordinates the facility and operations of one or more health center sites including: security, environmental services, fire and general safety, emergency preparedness, biomed, hazardous material handling and utilities. 2. Short-term and long-term identification, planning and coordination of physical plant, equipment and information service's needs. 3. Submission and tracking of Engineering and Information Services maintenance and repair requests and follow-up. 4. Defined projects within scope of responsibilities in support of department initiatives. 5. Scheduling and registration support and coordination to assist program managers in effective administrative and operational effectiveness in collaboration with appointment center manager and manager of access services. 6. Complaint resolution support and coordination to assist program managers in effective administrative and operational effectiveness of the patient experience. 7. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1. Knowledge of the principles and practices of quality and process improvement, tools and systems sufficient to be able to serve the long-range success of the organization. 2. Knowledge of ambulatory care principles and practices sufficient to analyze ongoing and proposed work programs. 3. Ability to execute strategic planning and implementation. 4. Effective project management ability with multiple, simultaneous projects. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation and presentation skills. 6. Basic understanding of budget including funding from multiple sources, and strategic planning involving collaboration with outside agencies and community organizations.
Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Engineering or similar fields of study required. 2. In lieu of degree requirement six years of directly related experience required if no BA/BS; nine-year total with minimum experience. 3. Three years of administrative or professional management experience related to planning and development, operational objectives, HR, business forecasting, budget development, financial modeling/forecasting, and marketing required. 4. Public health experience preferred.
Work Type Pay Range Minimum: 67,475.20 Midpoint: 84,344.00 Maximum: 101,192.00 All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test, once a conditional offer of employment has been made.
