Sanitation Worker, Food & Nutrition Services (Intermittent)

Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Food and Nutrition Services department including ware-washing, pots and pans, floors, floor drains, trash, cardboard compacting, and other cleaning tasks as assigned. Assist with soiled tray removal from patient rooms and designated soiled utility closets. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines. Complies with regulatory agency requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Must be able to read, write and speak English. 2. Ability to communicate effectively. 3. Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time. 4. Able to move with a sense of urgency and work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Ability to demonstrate professional work behavior by following guidelines as established by policies and procedures. Education: Experience: 2. Food service, healthcare, or custodial experience preferred. Credentials ServSafe Food certification preferred Location Shift Work Type Pay Range Minimum: $14.77 Midpoint: $15.60 Maximum: $18.20 All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test, once a conditional offer of employment has been made.
