Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Intern with us: - You will perform technical functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution
- You will provide inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical services including compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies, intravenous admixtures and narcotics
- You will audit supplies on nursing units
- You will handle charge reconciliation of patient billing documents
- You may assist in the provision of drug consultation to patients, physicians, nurses and hospital personnel
Qualifications you will need for this role: - Licensed intern with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
- Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate from, an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Previous experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
