Your day.

As a Surgeon in Bariatric Medicine you’ll work with 3 other Surgeons to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you’ll collaborate with several Advanced Practice Providers, Psychologists, RNs and Dieticians.

• You would practice at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado with some future clinic shifts at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, CO
• Your hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
• You’ll be on call 1:2 for bariatric patients and some trauma general surgery shifts 1-2 times/month. Please note that the 1:2 call may be more like 1:3-1:4 with the help of 2 other general surgeons.

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency trained in General Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery or 2 years of experience in Bariatric surgery
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
