Applications Management Manager

Job Summary Under minimal supervision, provides the leadership and direction for the use of specific applications systems ensuring support of the company's business objectives and requirements. Interacts with the Senior Management Staff and CIO fostering an open and collaborative style of communication and leadership. Assists with development and implementation plans for meeting all IT application needs of the organization. Strives to maintain a high level of service on production systems while anticipating future requirements, trends, and changes to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. The incumbent will be hands on and responsible for the application standards, procedures, processes, and overall quality of each application, as well as the efforts and career development of up to 15 application support personnel. The incumbent will have extensive interface with other clinical and business departments in addition to Network and Server groups in order to ensure timely and quality systems.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Education 1. Bachelor's Degree required. 2. Concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Healthcare Related field preferred. Experience 1. Eight (8) years in Information Systems or professional experience in application support and development at an enterprise system level required. 2. One (1) year personnel management experience preferred. 4. Healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Understands business function related to the application. 2. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical employees across the enterprise. 3. Ability to lead all phases of application systems support and maintenance of assigned systems. 4. Ability to recommend and implement solutions or otherwise engage appropriate stakeholders, including internal business representatives, other IT resources or support vendors as needed. 5. Define and adhere to development and support standards as approved by management. Computers and Technology 1. Ability to understand software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems. 2. Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application systems issues. 3. Understands and ability to learn the workflow and process requirements of the user departments. 4. Ability to lead and participate in all phases of application systems technical configuration and enhancement, including requirements definition, design, development, implementation, and support. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, hiring, terminating, performance management, coaching, supervision, fostering teamwork, training and development of one or more employees.
Location Shift Work Type Pay Range Minimum: 101,444.10 Midpoint: 126,804.36 Maximum: 152,165.64 All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test, once a conditional offer of employment has been made.
