Position Summary: Under direct supervision of the Retail Manager, the Cashier performs a variety of food service duties for patients, employees, medical staff and visitors.  Completes assigned sanitation, stocking and other related tasks.

Position Requirements:

A.   Licensure/Certification/Registration:  None required

B.    Education: None required

C.   Experience:   Prior healthcare related food service experience preferred.  Prior cash register experience preferred.

D.    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Must be knowledgeable in food handling, food safety and sanitation.  Must be familiar with cash register, cash controls and deposits.  Able to read, write and speak English.  Must be able to use the following equipment:  food service equipment, personal computer, copy machine, telephone and cash register.
