Responsible for receiving phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests. Complete pre-registration of scheduled patients, and ensure a valid provider order is obtained.
Schedule: Shifts are available Monday-Friday with occasional weekends shifts needed
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
1 year previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred.
Office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 codes, preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritization skills.
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Physical Requirements - Sedentary work - Prolonged perioed of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally
