Position supports Strategy and Planning activities for both system-wide and regional initiatives. The position reports directly to the Director, Strategy and Planning. Position is based in Aurora, Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus with the option to work in a remote setting one day per week.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
*Works collaboratively with the Director, Strategy and Planning on both system and regional strategy initiatives.
*Supports the development of complex business cases and related analytics to evaluate potential partnerships and new opportunities.
*Participates in the development of competitive assessments of health care related providers and activities in the market.
*Manages UCHealth Strategy and Planning PowerBI analytics including analytic development, data refreshes and ensures ongoing data integrity.
*Coordinates the update process for select Strategy and Planning analytic tools and reports.
*Conducts analysis, research and business plan development to evaluate new programs and services.
*Maintains knowledge of industry trends.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.
*Experience in health care strategy or strategy consulting with a focus on but not limited to hospitals, providers, payers, or life sciences.
*Demonstrated interest in health care.
*Experience designing and or developing data visualizations using business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Skills and abilities
*Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
*Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills that can inform decision making.
*Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
*Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
*Must be able to commute between facilities throughout the UCHealth network and state of Colorado.
*Must be able to present to and communicate effectively with providers and senior leadership-level audiences.
